Day 2: Sidama Coffee Forest Hiking & Lake Hawassa Sunset

Drive into the high-altitude, fertile highlands of Yirgalem within the Sidama Zone. Return to Hawassa in the late afternoon to visit Amora Gedel for a stunning sunset over the water, viewing playful colobus and vervet monkeys along the shore before experiencing a traditional evening hyena feeding ritual.

Drive south through Key Afer to Turmi, the territorial hub of the pastoralist Hamer tribe.
