Itenerary
Day 01: Fly Addis Ababa – Lalibela (The Eighth Wonder of the World)
On arrival our teams will be waiting for you at the airport then you will have breakfast around the airport and after that you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lalibela. Be met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. ‘Eighth wonder of world Heritage’ Lalibela is famous for its underground rock-hewn cathedrals.
In the afternoon you will visit the top attractions of Lalibela that will simply stagger you. These churches include Bete Medhane Alem, Bete Mariam, Bete Meskal, Bete Denaghel, Bete Golgotha, Bete Mikael, and Bete Giorgis.
Overnight in Lalibela top 12 hotels.
Day 02: Lalibela To Addis Ababa for Departure
This day after breakfast you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Addis and Departure. overnight at Aya Addis Hotel.
Day 03: Addis- Semera – Hamedela
You will fly from Addis to Semera and you drive about 5-6 hrs to reach Hamed Ela on the way, you will stop at Lake Afdera for lunch and maybe even swim a bit. In the next camping village this evening, we will visit Lake Asale with salt flats and have wine or beer drink in the stunning place while you are swimming in the salt lake. o/n open air camping at hamedela.
Day 4: Dalol- Gheralta
After breakfast, you will drive to the colorful attractions of Dalol which is located at -125 below sea level. Here you will visit the different landscapes formed by volcanic activity, Dallol + Lake Assal + camel caravans. Excursion to Dallol (116 meters below sea level, one of the lowest places in the world) colorful salt mining. After we visit all the attractions, continue driving to Gheralta for about 3 hrs to mekele and from mekel, you will fly to Addis.
