10 Days Ethiopian National Parks, Landscape, Birds and Cultural Exploring

Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa

You will arrive in Addis Ababa, and visit the Addis Abeba city tour depends what time you will land in Addis Abeba. And stay overnight at the Saphir Hotel.

Day 2: Addis Ababa to Chebera Churchura National Park

Depart Addis Ababa in the morning via either the Addis-Jima- Ameya road or Addis-Shashemene-Sodo-Waka-Tocha, and have your lunch on your way. You will arrive in Chebera Churchura National Park in the late afternoon. Enjoy the scenery of the park from the park headquarters and the campsites and a bit of game drive in the evening to discover the elephants. overnight at Chebera Lodge.

Day 3: Chebera Churchura National Park

Morning expedition to the national park where you will walk to the Meka and Erka Forests, mammals include the African elephant, hippopotamus, Cape buffalo, lion, leopard, and bird watching activities. You will be back for lunch and after a break, you will go walk to the hot springs and waterfall sites. The schedule also includes small lake visits for birding and other interesting birding sites. You will stay overnight in the Chebra Lodge.

Day 4: Chebera Churchura National Park

In the morning, you will depart to the other part of the park, heading to Borbo Falls and Bulo Lake. Activities include different animals and birds. Then you will have a lunch break. In the afternoon, you will continue to the other sites, visitors can explore 80 kilometers of rough dry weather road crossing the western sides of the park and show the entire park view or it is also possible to trek inside the park following the footpaths available. Overnight at Chebera Lodge.

Day 5: Maze National Park

You will have a morning drive to Maze National Park. Explore the wildlife and the landscape features of the area. Maze is notably known for the endangered Swayne’s Hartebeest. Overnight will be in the Bekele Mola Hotel.

Day 6: Arba Minch Drive to Arba Minch.

Visit the Rift Valley lakes, lake Chamo, and crocodile farming. You will also visit the Dorze village to witness their traditions. Overnight stay will be at Paradise Lodge.

Day 7: Hawassa Drive to Awassa.

Visit Lake Awassa and the colorful Fish Market. The bird life on the lakeshore is amazing. Overnight will be at Haile Resort. Day 8: Hawassa to Bale Mountains National Park You will drive from Awassa to Bale Mountains National Park. In the afternoon, you will visit the Gazel area and the park headquarters Dinsho, there you will have to see several Ethiopian endemic mammals and birds. You will stay overnight at Bale Mountains Lodge or Wabi Shebelle Hotel. Day ten

Day 9: Sanetti Plateau

You will have a morning drive for a full-day excursion at the Sanetti Plateau fauna and flora. The Endemic Ethiopian Wolf is the target of the day, bird life, and landscape including the second-highest mountain in Ethiopia, Mount Tulu Dimtu. Overnight will be in Hotel Bale Mountains Lodge or Wabi Shebelle Hotel.

Day 10: Sanetti – Addis Abeba

After Early early breakfast at Senete a light trek around Sante. Drive back to Addis via the beautiful. Chain mountains of bale lunch at masala then continue to drive to Addis. Drive time might take up to 8 hrs. Arrive in Addis and transfer to your hotel or international flight back home.
