Day 1
Depart east from Addis Ababa to Awash National Park . In the evening you will have a chance to do a short game drive where you’ll see local wildlife , such as oryx, baboons, greater and lesser kudu, warthogs, gazelles and colobus monkeys. If you’re very lucky, you might even see leopards, lions, and other cats.
The landscapes in the park are beautiful, looking over the Awash Gorge . Today we may also drive deep into the park, to the hot springs.
Overnight in Awash National Park (lodge or camping).
Day 2
We’ll wake you up early so we can take a drive into the park and witness as it comes alive. Afterwards, you’ll depart from Awash , returning to Addis Ababa . On the way you can stop in Sodere to take a shower in the therapeutic hot spring
waters.

A short overnight trip to the amazing Awash National Park, considered by some
to be Ethiopia’s most popular and interesting park.
